Last week, The Lost Dogs' Home launched its own pet licencing program: Pet Licence 101. The online quiz designed to educate potential pet owners, has been overwhelmingly well received by members of the public, dog trainers and pet owners.
Melbourne’s stormy weekend resulted in the admission of 92 lost and frightened dogs to The Lost Dogs' Home. The Home accommodated this deluge of displaced dogs in its North Melbourne shelter, also affected by the torrential downpour.
As Melbourne recovers after the record breaking storms, 76 of the 92 dogs who were rescued by The Lost Dogs' Home over Saturday and Sunday have been reclaimed by their owners.
